She either met with Assad, who is behind the murder of a certain Lebanese critic that led to beautiful Ceder Spring, to make GW look bad (classy and respectful) or to create her won agenda (illegal). There have been some good points on her behalf ... not really. She screwed the pooch in a bad way. Here is some things she should consider

from Fred Barnes:
Pelosi's visit to Damascus for talks with Syrian president Bashir Assad showed her ill-equipped to deal with the longstanding conflict between Israel and neighboring Arab states in the Middle East. She made three serious mistakes.
The complicated nature of diplomacy in the Middle East eluded her. She was in
way over her head. She didn't understand what she was dealing with. This was her first big mistake.
Her second mistake was believing the conventional wisdom in Washington that headway could be made with the Syrians if only we'd talk to them.
Pelosi's third (and biggest) mistake was thinking she could broker a peace between Israel and Syria. This was naive in the extreme.

The Logan Act makes it a felony and provides for a prison sentence of up to three years for any American, "without authority of the United States," to communicate with a foreign government in an effort to influence that government's behavior on any "disputes or controversies with the United States." Some background on this statute helps to understand why Ms. Pelosi may be in serious trouble.
But Wolf can travel to Syria virtually undetected. Pelosi has an international profile. That guarantees her heavy media coverage but multiplies the price of a misstep, which she quickly made when she created confusion about how eager Israel is to resume peace talks with Syria. Israel immediately clarified her remarks.
Wolf is a Representative who claims to be Republican. Hopefully this other criminal is made fully aware of the Logan Act as he is prosecuted as well as Pelosi. The ethical congress we were promised was a sham the moment Rep. "Gladbag" Jefferson was offered a post.

hiya Obob..SOTH indeed...can we relieve her of her duties now?!
not in her neck of the woods unless the voters sober up
Frank Wolf is no longer my Rep (change in district lines). I'm stunned that he has decided to butt into foreign policy.
Foreign policy is plainly, according to the Constitution, the domain of the executive branch.
