they are a violent batch with a nasty disposition. Almost as scary as though students so correctly put down in 1989. Shocking concept freedom of speech, religion or any other basic rights.

That's an intense picture. I haven't followed the demonstrations all that closely - I've been blogging the campaign - but China's not coming out very good on all of this.

It seems everywhere you look is more and more violence. Or maybe I am just getting more aware of it...who knows?

eff the Chinese......I'm going to Hong Kong tomorrow afternoon, thinking about buying a "free Tibet" shirt and wearing it......well on 2nd thought, let me re-think that one.

When I first saw this posting, I was trying to figure out which country was this happening. Brutality is such a common horror in today's world that it took me a minute or two to realize that this is the Chinese brutalizing the Tibetans.

Back in the early 90s, I awoke with a wicked hang over one morning. As I sat on the floor watching the morning news, I swore I saw Harold Kissinger doing the weather. No one believed me. Professors discounted me. I have been vindicated.
