Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

I got this from Mancow's website.
Get a weed-whacker for that back.

If you surived that picture, this is a wicked funny parody of the old news reels and our beloved democratic process.
I do hope the good people at Shall we talk? are not offended by the slight towards the French. To be honest, this is a great blog to have intelligent conversation with bloggers from the other side of the Pond.

Hi obob

Thanks for the kind words...

I don't know who Manco is and what it refers to so I'm clueless here.

As for the video; I didn't understand half of what was said... nor did I get the context.

Looks like France and the 5 year period of German occupation were used as a counter example of why it is important for young Americans to vote...

Another example of this unique fascination America seems to nurture vis à vis the French... ;-)

Mancow is a national morning radio host. More of a shock jock, he is very Libertarian. He also holds many of the left and their views in contempt and is fearless in calling them out.
The picture is a Photoshop of Rosie O'Donnel and the terrorist KGB morphed together. Her views are of the far left moonbat variety. To be blunt, she is a very pathetic person.
As for the film, during the Cold War, we had educational movies shown to school children that were a little short on the truth. This is a satire/tribute.
A great example of these films is the infamous "duck and cover" movie for an atomic attack. They tried to convince the school children if you ducked under your desk and covered your head with a book, you'll live ...
As for the Nazi occupation footage, your guess is as good as mine.
I enjoyed their explaination of how the votes are counted. Pretty accurate. There are wizards and we do beam our votes to the moon. The Skulls & Bones, Free Masons, Shriners and the Girl Scouts are behind it all

Kissinger Doing the Weather

Kissinger Doing the Weather
Back in the early 90s, I awoke with a wicked hang over one morning. As I sat on the floor watching the morning news, I swore I saw Harold Kissinger doing the weather. No one believed me. Professors discounted me. I have been vindicated.
