This is going to be an ongoing post today. If I see something I like, I'll add to it like a good stew.
First, some deviled ham:
Here you go liberals, he admits he is the Dark Lord. You have the evidence to prosecute.

Then some nut:
This spirit of Stalin lives in North Korea by the name of Kim Jong-il. A reporter from the Sun wrote a honest piece on life there and the fear that smothers the people.

Kim, 67, is just 5ft 3in and compensates with platform shoes, bouffant hair – and tyrannical rule. In his dictator-chic safari suits and dark-rimmed glasses, James Bond fan Kim is a classic Dr Evil-style despot.
He would be laughable but for his nuclear threats and staggering inhumanity shown to his people. Aid agencies estimate that up to two million people have died since the mid1990s because of food shortages.
While millions of North Koreans starved on a diet of seaweed, cabbage stalks and grass, Kim imported two Italian chefs to cook him pizzas as he guzzled brandy.
Then a touch comedy:
The NYT has an interactive piece that is funnier than their profits. If you have the same fond memories of the Mad Magazine Fold-ins at the end of the comic, here you go. Of course I didn't realize how much I may disagree with some of the politics, but still worth the visit. To wrap this up, the Cubs start their season today.

You might just be the second funniest blog I've read (I'm #1 of course) so far.
So I went ahead and added you to my blogroll. Welcome.
Patrick, you've got a nice blog, nice poetry, too, but obob's humor is second to none.
btw, I guess you've got to watch out for people who are 5 ft 3, huh?
Great stuff Obob
Good for the laugh of the day

You are too funny, Obob!
You are a Cubs fan, too? There is a special place in Heaven for you, you have great faith in mircales!
Obob,
I haven't seen one of those fold-ins in Mad Magazine for years. Come to think of it, I haven't seen a Mad Magazine for years. I remember as a young kid, walking to the store down the street to get the latest issue along with some cheese popcorn and coke. We'd then sit out in front of the store, eat the popcorn, drink the coke, and read the Mad. It was like a ritual.
Thanks for linking to it.
