Happy St. Parick's

the concept of blogging time is once again a radical one. So a quick Happy St. Patrick's. I'll be in the parade in Indy then bartending at my in-law's place for the 15th year.

So be a cliche, drink green beer and laugh until it hurts.

Quick note on Irish whiskey:

  • Bushmill's - Protestant

  • Jameson - Catholic

Thanks for the heads-up!

I've had Jameson before, now I'll have to try Bushmills.

have you ever left a Catholic wedding reception sober. Then you were not trying.
I remember one priest we had a bar on a trailer he took to parties.

I'm 100% Irish, black Irish.

I used to tend bar, over 25 years ago.

I remember St. Patricks day as the best tipping day of the year, and one of the reasons I gave up drinking.

Kissinger Doing the Weather

Kissinger Doing the Weather
Back in the early 90s, I awoke with a wicked hang over one morning. As I sat on the floor watching the morning news, I swore I saw Harold Kissinger doing the weather. No one believed me. Professors discounted me. I have been vindicated.
