Beautiful People Not Mentioned By People or SI

check out those intellectual gams!

Every once in awhile, we need to sit back and look at what is really important. Since Calivin and Hobbes is defunct

Creators of Styrofoam, LEDs to be honoredWASHINGTON -- The inventors of Styrofoam, disposable medical trays and Bose audio technology are among the 18 new members of the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
William Murphy Jr., honored for a variety of medical inventions, recalled that as a medical intern he performed a spinal tap procedure using a dull needle.
This inspired him to invent the first disposable surgical tray, which contained fresh, sealed equipment specifically needed for a particular surgery.

Other honorees:
• Nick Holonyak Jr. for the first visible light-emitting diodes, or LEDs.
Are kidding me? This guy should get a Middle School names after him!

• Ruth Benerito for wrinkle-free cotton.
How many countless minutes have been saved because of this stellar use of gray matter!

• Erna Hoover for computerized telephone switching.

• Amos Joel Jr. for the switching concept for cellular phones.

• Kenneth Richardson for the anti-fungal drug fluconazole.
the fungal lobby worked hard to block this one!

• Robert Adler for the first practical wireless television remote control.
Screw a Middle School, try renaming MIT

• John Charnley for hip replacement surgery.
Someday I will thank this man

• Willem Einthoven for the electrocardiograph.
This guy too

• Calvin Fuller, Gerald Pearson and Daryl Chapin for the silicon solar cell.

• Clarence Johnson for his work in designing more than 40 types of aircraft.

• Ray McIntire for Styrofoam.
This sealed the proverbial deal. How is my beer supposed to stay cold at the track!

• Malcom McLean for interchangable containerized cargo boxes.

• Harold McMaster for a machine that made tempered glass.
As opposed to the illtempered glass in anger management classes

• David Pall for a variety of filtration devices.

Rumor has it that JFK wasn't the only one with Marilyn Monroe, supposedly she sent Al a thank you note too.

Kissinger Doing the Weather

Kissinger Doing the Weather
Back in the early 90s, I awoke with a wicked hang over one morning. As I sat on the floor watching the morning news, I swore I saw Harold Kissinger doing the weather. No one believed me. Professors discounted me. I have been vindicated.
