Fred Thompson is finally jumping in the race.
Hillary is taking dirty money.
A Senator can leave a women to die in a sinking car and he is worshipped by his party. While another decides to play switch hitter, plead to a misdemeanor and resigns.
College football is on. Go Hokies.
Unions will tout their strength while our educational system flounders in mediocrity.
This pales in comparisson to the real news.
Obob is going to his 20th high school reunion tonight. Most of the people I haven't seen since the 10 year. Back then I was starting to sober up so the memories are still fuzzy and unfocused. But last night we met at a local bar and played quick catch up. Very cool. Needless to say some looked exactly alike, some of us put on weight, glasses and have no hair. I'm sure I'll bore you with something on Sunday, so stay tuned if you are a masocist.
Part Dos
The best way to describe was not a revisiting of the past, except the paper I wrote 20 years ago the Religion teacher brought back to life, but of what our lives are now. The average grad had 2.8 kids, mostly lived in Indy still, no talk of those not with us on Earth, and how we got there through the madcap adventures of life.
and so it goes

Why Mass. worship an idiot like Ted Kennedy, is beyond me.
It is realistic to note the culture changes since Chappaquiddick. If that were to happen today, I doubt Teddy would get away without jail time.
It's public outcry, that determines what discipline the party bosses will dole out.
Our current culture also decides what happens to a sad case like Sen. Craig (check out my post).
35 years ago, we didn't have cops staking out bathrooms for perverts.
Isn't it normal (funny) that the party in power always seems to have the most scandals.
Teddy is a Kennedy. Yes, times have changed and it is a shame we have cops on potty patrol. I worried about the guy in the urinal next to me, now the stalls aren't safe. Is nothing sacred? The thought of getting interupted during my 7:05 might need police protection for the fool who did so.
As for the scandals, I hope the Democrats are digging in deep and purging the ranks now.
How was the reunion?
The Republican scandals are not over yet, the Congress is still investigating. It could be years till we hear the end of it.
Don't worry, with Democrats headed towards being the party in power, there will be MANY Democratic scandals to have fun with.
reunions...eeeeeeeeeeek!..hope it was a blast and bet ure still the smartest in the class!..Heh
Hillary taking tainted money will be squashed and buried just as Bill's perjury was - but guaranteed, if that had been a Repbulican, he'd be in jail by now.
there is no doubt the dirty money is no cleaned and pretty for prom, but jeez. Between Rosty of the old vanguard, Ryan the gov, and Giancana giving JFK in 60, I guess I'm used to corruption from Ill.
One thing about the 20 year, the best part was not talking about the past, but talking about our lives in the present.
Glad to hear your reunion went well. I suppose you didn't talk politics there (that can really get people going, huh?) But it is interesting to see where people turn out vs. where you thought they'd be.
Politics as usual.
I hope you had a decent time at your 20th!
Fred's the bomb.
Hillary's the bitch.
Ted's a drunken killer.
Go Sun Devils.
Unions suck.
Reunions are a blast. What was really cool at mine, were the couple of guys who were complete door knobs, turned out very cool and were (as far as I could tell) really good dads.
I'm pretty in agreement with Gringo. Even the guy who I didn't say three words two in high school I had a great conversation with. The past is the past.
