Hey residents in the vicinity of JFK International Airport, don't worry.
NEW YORK (AP) - Four Muslim men were foiled from carrying out a plot to destroy John F. Kennedy International Airport, kill thousands of people and trigger an economic catastrophe by blowing up a jet fuel artery that runs through populous residential neighborhoods, authorities said Saturday.
Side note, CAIR will be pissed that the AP described the terrorists as Muslim. Bad Associated Press.
According to the people's party, your Democrats, there is no GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR!
Democrats have banned the phrase "global war on terror" from the draft Pentagon budget, arguing that it is a propagandist term designed to boost President George W Bush's contention that the Iraq conflict was a war of necessity.
The term, coined by the Bush administration shortly after the September 11 attacks, soon entered the American political lexicon. In Pentagon documents, it has its own acronym - GWOT.
But Democrats on the House of Representatives' armed services committee, in an unconscious echo of Basil Fawlty's refrain of "Don't Mention the War!" in a Fawlty Towers episode "The Germans", has said that GWOT should be avoided.
That's right! Brought to by the same team of geniuses who think socialism is a good idea, there is no threat. Just keep walking, nothing to see.

gosh Obob..I didnt even hear bout this...whew!
I find it most interesting that one of the plotters intended to fly to Caracas , then to Iran. HM....?
The WaPo used the term "Islamic extremists." The Washington Times used the term "three men."
"Side note, CAIR will be pissed that the AP described the terrorists as Muslim. Bad Associated Press."
I thought that, too!
The NYT probably isn't even covering the story.
::whistle:: just passin' through - nothin' to see here...
and did any notice the lack of respect given to the current admin and feds for stopping this? Or utter denial the patriot act may be a necessary evil?
Funny how the NYTimes did not even run the JFK plot story on their front page. Some big spread about brickmakers in India took the lead.
