Thanks Tony

One man I have to respect, even though he was the leader of the rather left leaning Labour Party, is the man Tony Blair. Prime Minister Blair will be resigning his position and opening the door for this cat, the Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown left, as the probable successor. PM Blair was the personification of a friend after 9/11 and has stood by our nation and President Bush through the rough parts and merciless criticism from his countrymen. His wit and savy intelligence in front of his Parlimentary opponents, with Cameron as a future PM, on CSPAN have made me wish we had the same practice in the States.
I have to say thank you from here in Indiana, we still got your back.

For Fun: Tony Blair is seen in the back row, third from right, gesturing with his hand. Use your imagination what he means with his right hand. The goup picture of this Oxford dining club was for years "cropped" to avoid the embarrassing gesture. Alas, the release had the usual political intent, so goes life. I posted the picture not to embarrass him, but if you were to find my fraternity's scrapbook, I'll never be in politics. Or be promptly adopted by the Kennedy clan.

Tony Blair is one of the most eloquent speakers I've ever heard. I'll miss hearing him after he leaves office.

Good thing that college pics aren't posted of all us bloggers. LOL.

Kissinger Doing the Weather

Kissinger Doing the Weather
Back in the early 90s, I awoke with a wicked hang over one morning. As I sat on the floor watching the morning news, I swore I saw Harold Kissinger doing the weather. No one believed me. Professors discounted me. I have been vindicated.
