MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton outlined a broad economic vision Tuesday, saying it's time to replace an "on your own" society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.
Does the word communism come to mind? A what point does my measly paycheck get to be shared with some jackhole who does squat? I may not make much, but I work hard and know I could make more in another field, that is my choice. I don't ask for sympathy I chose this path.
This is a very irresponsible attempt at gaining the popular vote. This country was built on the Protestant work ethic, the sweat and blood of immigrants, and John Smith's get in gear or get off my hemisphere attitude.
Not the "Oh gosh, we'll pick up your slack because hard work isn't your bag." The illegals who come here at least understand that economic concept. And if we are so much trouble with the Chinese gaining us, the last message any semi-intelligent candidate should imply is not stepping up.

she's just going for the lowest voting base - what do you want to bet she also has some sort of drive to round up disenfranchised social cases to the voting booths?
i can just see her flunkies down on skid row rallying for votes!

This is the real Hillary - if you go back to her days in Arkansas and see what she was up to there, through healthcare in the first Clinton term. She is a socialist, and always has been - of course, for everyone else - you don't see her giving anything to anyone. She lives plenty large. Of course, it has always been on public money. Maybe the real message is - "I can live off of the government and so can you."
