Thuggees For Life

Rep. Murtha once fought bravely for our country. I will not contest that. He has since been a typical check cashing Congressman until he became an anti-war advocate and darling to the left. When this happens, the right retaliates and plays the name calling game as well the immature Democrats.
A name that has surfaced for Murtha has been a "Thug." Now, he may not be a bling bling wearing gangsta, but he uses strong arm tactics to help SoH Pelosi with her agenda.

Thug-in-Chief Jack "ABSCOM" Murtha
``I said she should have the same consideration Hastert did,'' Murtha said, adding that it isn't wise for the Pentagon to reject her use of a non-stop plane.

or in his early 80s role as wanna-be corrupt Congressman
What would you say if a man with $50,000 in a suitcase asked you to break the law?
“I am not interested,” was a good start. Unfortunately, Rep. Jack Murtha, D-Pa., kept talking. “I am sorry,” he said. “At this point, you know, we do business for a while, maybe I’ll be interested.”
But is he a real thug? I pondered this monikier and did some research and thought of the origin of the term "Thug."
from the Urban Dictionary.com
As Tupac defined it, a thug is someone who is going through struggles, has gone through struggles, and continues to live day by day with nothing for them. That person is a thug. and the life they are living is the thug life. A thug is NOT a gangster.

Did you know this is where the name comes from? It is Indian of nature. Explain this to group of innercity kids who are thug wanna bes. It kinds deflates them.
Thuggee
(or tuggee) (from Hindi thag thief, from Sanskrit sthaga scoundrel, from sthagati to conceal) was an Indian network of secret fraternities who were engaged in murdering and robbing travellers, operating from the 17th century (possibly as early as 13th century) to the 19th century whose members were known as Thugs. This is the origin of the term thug, as many Indian words passed into common English during British Imperial rule of India.

Their method of killing was very often strangulation.

According to the Guinness Book of Records the Thuggee cult was responsible for approximately 2,000,000 deaths. The British historian Dr. Mike Dash estimated that they killed 50,000 persons in total based on his assumption that they only started to exist 150 years before their eradication in the 1830s.

Kissinger Doing the Weather
Back in the early 90s, I awoke with a wicked hang over one morning. As I sat on the floor watching the morning news, I swore I saw Harold Kissinger doing the weather. No one believed me. Professors discounted me. I have been vindicated.
